Lacquer-pair Of Owls

These two wooden pieces are of identical dimensions (38 x 38 x 4cms) but each piece displays a different image. On one of the decorative blocks we have two rather feisty looking owls perched on a tree branch. The owls appear to have been disturbed and are irritated by the rude awakening! The other decorative block features what looks to be a very loving family of owls. Their eyes are wide and ever watching. Both of these pieces feature unique backgrounds that resemble the leaves and flowers of a tree. The colours in these pieces are muted and subdued but that does not tale away from their visual impact. The colours used for the leaves are muted shades of brown and orange, which is in stark contrast to the blue hues used for the two birds. Hang these pieces side by side or opposite each other to set the mood of a hallway.
