Ascott Table Runner Blue
Ascott Table Runner Blue
A table runner you can’t go wrong with, the Ascott Table Runner Blue is a simple way to introduce colour into a room - but not so much that it becomes overwhelming. The stripes run down the centre, and those fringes are a little bit of fun at either end. These measure 40x180cm and come in a smooth cotton fabric.

It’s the hand-twisted fringe on the edges. That’s what we noticed first when we stocked these Ascott Table Runners Blue. They’re exactly the kind of textured touch that a lot of retailers have told us they’re after. The whole effect is subtle and that makes it really easy for shoppers to grab this as a last-minute addition to their cart - a quick impulse pick for their dinner party.
The coastal blue tones and clean lines are beautifully delicate. It’s not in your face - those vertical stripes aren’t super bold. And what we’ve realised is people don’t always want something that looks like it’ll draw too much attention. If you are getting this for a range with larger prints and motifs, it fits in well between them because it adds variety. Even when you think about upselling - say, with bowls, tableware, even vases and centrepieces - you could easily recommend this as a layering piece.
That’s sort of how we see this table runner fitting into most product displays at retail - 40x180cm and made from cotton, the finish is so smooth and even but you get enough texture from the stripes and the hand-twisted details that it doesn’t look out of place next to fancier pieces.
We’ve also gotten these in two tones if you wanted an alternative to blue.
