We’ve had these on our desks for a while now and they continue to be a talking point - just gives you that gentle nudge of calm when there’s a bit too much on your mind. These are those classic book boxes, set up so they work either upright or flat. For us, it’s the botanical motif with the journal-style panel for writing at the back and the hand-drawn style patterning at the front that makes this set one to have in stores. They measure 34x25x6.5cm for the bigger one and 29x20x5.5cm for the smaller - which means you can definitely use them for books or paperwork lying around that needs to be out of sight. Made of MDF with a canvas, non-woven fabric and PVC finish, these really last the distance as display pieces because they don’t seem to fade or scuff even with a few tumbles now and again. The soft muted colours are great in just about any contemporary space or even an office. We’d say this is where utility meets aesthetics if there ever was such a thing.
