Handcrafted item - variations in size and finish will occur. Please note rustic finish is part of the decoration of the piece. Due to the nature of material, cracks may appear and knots /fault lines are a design feature of this product.Note Wood is not sealed. This product is biodegradable and environmentally friendly. Materials non-hazardous, non-infectious and non-toxic. Avoid contact with moisture and store/ display them in a dry place. For indoor use ONLY. We recommend using artificial plants for decoration.
Start with the natural wood. Very matte finish, not shiny at all - the texture is part of the charm. Big, shallow bowl on these three short feet, almost reminds us of a woodland fairy’s dish or one of those minimalist Scandinavian centrepieces. We think they are really going to catch the eye, even from across the room. These ones come in at about 29.5x29.5x13.5cm so they will certainly make an impression - size wise, great for tables, front counters, or high shelves that need just a splash of light brown.
They’re made from sustainably grown Paulownia Wood and have been left unsealed so they’re not water proof or moisture-proof but on the other hand that makes them completely safe for food and biodegradable at end-of-life. Just note, moisture does mess them up quite quickly so we recommend keeping them dry and away from artificial plants just in case.
But back to the design - it’s a hand crafted item so each one has quirks or differences that make it unique while keeping it consistent with the rest of your decor theme if you plan to order more than one.
