We have to admit, there’s something about pineapples - the symbol for friendship, hospitality and all things tropical. This Large Pineapple Candleholder is one of those pieces that just grabs attention when you walk by. The gold finish creates warmth, and the unique size - it’s 27 by 27 by 25 centimetres - makes it ideal as a statement centrepiece for dinners, sideboards or even corporate offices looking to soften up their reception spaces with a little playfulness.
It’s crafted from resin, so it’s got a nice weight to it without feeling too fragile. And it brings a sense of sophistication, but not in an overly stuffy way. We’ve found this fits beautifully into most modern or eclectic homeware collections. The design manages to walk that fine line between quirky and stylish. And because it isn’t immediately obvious what it is from a distance - is it art or is it functional decor? It starts conversations.
