Christmas Bird Gold
Metal and MDF combine for a solid-feeling figurine that’s 20.5x18x5cm so you get a Christmas bird with the kind of presence that works on mantels, coffee tables, or even shelves by the window. It’s got a rustic, lightly distressed finish and those gold wings, tail, and crown are textured for interest - it’s hard to tell if they’re actually glittery or just textured because the light bounces off them in a unique way. The stylised bird shape is pretty versatile so even outside of Christmas, this one has display potential.

There are Christmas birds, and then there's the Christmas Bird Gold. The bird part of this piece has a rustic, distressed white body that evokes vintage elegance, but what really makes it shine - literally and metaphorically - are the textured gold wings, tail, and crown. It's festive without being over-the-top. And it's nice that the bird stands firmly on minimalist metal legs with interesting three-pronged feet, giving it a quirky, handmade appeal. The stylised body looks contemporary, but this definitely isn't just for contemporary settings.
This one is versatile enough for office desks, lounges, nooks in living rooms (see how we didn't say home? Heh.), and even window ledges. It's eye-catching enough to be a standalone decor item at 20.5x18x5cm but subtle enough to sit next to other festive pieces without drawing attention away from them. Festive decor that doesn't try too hard is rare - and that's what we like about the Christmas Bird Gold.
