This Decorative Trinket Box Starfish has been a really interesting piece to have in our offices, especially because we don’t get a lot of coastal or marine life themed pieces that focus on the element itself rather than what surrounds it. It’s quite compact at 9x9x2.5cm, just about big enough for your customers to store pins and buttons or their accessories like rings and earrings - and maybe even more since this is an enamel on metal box rather than wood with a cut out.
The box has that shiney, glazed look - so much so you might almost think it was glass with handpainted details; but it’s actually a nice metallic blue base covered with white dots and finished off with raised golden outlines along each arm and ridge. The starfish shape instantly brings up memories of summer days at the beach during warmer months.
