Doorstop Gods Door
Uplifting, wholesome - that’s what we’re hearing about this fabric doorstop. There’s the inspirational quote (When God closes one door, He opens another) but also a bunch of classic elements that just pair well with classic and country styles. There’s the sand coloured polyester body, lots of thick rope detail and plenty of visible seams for extra textural detailing. We’ve even had stores go out of stock on these pretty quickly so they’re definitely worth considering for shopfronts that are already stocking our trinkets or other spiritual pieces!

The Doorstop Gods Door’s got this sort of handmade, rustic feel that we quite like. The rectangular body comes in this sandy neutral with woven polyester and a chunky rope handle for lifting and carrying it around the house. It’s perfectly sized at 15x10x20cm so there’s plenty of weight to hold most types of doors open with ease - some might even keep it near entryways or heavier security doors. That’s probably down to its inspiring message on the front: “When God closes one door, He opens another” right in between these lovely scrolled accents.
As a homey touch to farmhouse or even traditional homes and kitchens, it fits right in with other warm wooden finishes or soft checked prints. But for spaces where any more personal motifs might stick out too much, you’ll still find room in larger offices or creative spaces by leaning into their slightly unfinished look (for wherever raw brick walls are exposed).
