It's easy to get lost in the detail with the Framed Canvas Polly. At first, it's all about the cockatoo and then, after a while, you start to see those subtle contrasts in colour and texture that set it apart from other pieces in this range. It's matte and textured on purpose - an entire mood piece at 70x110cm in terms of size, making it ideal for use as an accent wall piece but not too overpowering if we choose to keep it beside a bookshelf or sideboard instead.
The wood frame is what ties it all together, really. It introduces warmth into the mix and makes us want to reach out and touch the canvas just because of how inviting it all looks. And for something that's so soft and delicate, there are so many really crisp details around the edges that really highlight how much work went into the finish itself. We really dig this one.
