Pastel blue-green glass always creates a bit of a stir on the wholesale end of things, and it’s probably that dreamy finish more than anything else. There’s something about the way that subtle misty colour moves from darker on the outside to lighter in the centre - it gets a really positive response from retailers and retail customers alike.
We particularly like the choice to go for a scalloped edge because it doesn’t feel too forced with this type of glassware. Sometimes designers lean on scallops when they have nothing else to play with but this piece really works without feeling ‘over’ or cliche. It measures 24.5x24.5x5cm so you get quite a nice amount of coverage, particularly if you’re using it as a table centrepiece or wall-mounted display dish - those gold edges do wonders for bringing out metallic highlights in similar pieces (like candle holders or mirrors).
