Got a call from a client the other day. They couldn’t decide between keeping it modern and minimalist or traditional with heavier silhouettes when redecorating their kitchen and they asked us for recs. While doing our research we found something fun for shopfronts to offer up - a great gift option but also an at-home staple.
It’s the Grinder Large Black. There is something stylish about this piece- the detailing on its wooden exterior, the embellishments at every curve, and the shine that catches your eye on even a cloudy day- which actually ended up tying both themes together for our client but they’ve also had guests ask them about it.
The ridges make it easy to grip when you’re grinding up seasoning or picking it out from cabinets (kinda awkward). But it stays put on flat countertops even with its 5x5cm base size because of how hefty these things are in hand. The top’s reinforced so it's just as sturdy, especially with the metallic knob helping you adjust things when using coarser salt crystals and larger peppercorn blends for steaks and pastas. Easy to wipe down so looks new all through year too!
