Coastal style? We’re still seeing a lot of interest, and our Hook Star Fish is one of those fun options that brings some warmth to any nautical collection. Pewter (but finished in a warm metallic) and 9.5x3.5x12cm, it’s a hand-crafted piece with bags of texture and personality. We’ve noticed shoppers drawn to the way it plays with light - there’s plenty of shimmer but not so much that it’s out of place in more subtle spaces - and the two mounting holes on the arms give flexibility in placement.

You’re never quite sure if it’s going to be starfish or seahorses or coral that end up being the most requested by shoppers, but this one’s definitely right up there with the best of them. Our Hook Star Fish, which as you’d expect is made from pewter, is a 9.5 x 3.5 x 12cm piece that has that iconic metallic finish you see in more ornate homewares - it’s a little like brass but slightly darker and more subtle. And we have to say, starfish just seem to catch the eye so much more than most nautical designs!
We have two hooks at the bottom which are essentially little nodes at the end - they work really well as general hooks for entryways, bathrooms and kitchens but what seems to make these sell quickly is when you display them with other marine-themed items. You don’t really want to crowd these out with too many pieces but having them next to some wooden plaques or glass fish can do wonders.
