Jute Bag Tropics
Say what you will about jute, we find it’s one of the more versatile, modern, and appealing materials around. The first thing we notice about the Jute Bag Tropics is its tropical green and beige palm leaf motif which sort of takes us back to memories of being in a beachside market stall or walking around at an all-natural lifestyle expo. It’s definitely got a certain global feel that feels right at home in an indie store but also fits in with many earthier, rustic aesthetics. Some people have even said it fits in with their classier homeware boutiques too!
We find that there’s real value in its 50x30cm size as well because it can sit at the centre of a shelf and draw attention without being distracting. And this comes down to the materials and quality; made from sturdy jute fibres with a brass swivel clasp, you get an artisanal look and craftsmanship that not many bags have these days.
