Key Hide Snail
SKU: U2233-4
Our Key Hide Snail is a clever way to keep keys concealed and secure, but it’s also a cute ornament for the outdoors. This 15.5x7x6.5cm metal snail can live on patios or in gardens, and you’ll probably have people coming up to it to get a closer look at that verdigris finish and that rustic shell detail - maybe even to check if it’s real. In our experience, the Key Hide Snail is a classic when it comes to blending a rustic garden style with practicality and just a dash of whimsy. This solid metal cast snail, with its weathered bronze finish and hints of verdigris green patina, is real proof that functional things can - should - look good too. The level of detail in the spiral shell and those charming little antennae adds some character that really pops against classic cottage or farmhouse settings. Or anywhere there are bits of moss, cement paths, you know.
We find the rough-and-ready texturing also highlights the aged aesthetic well - not at all manufactured-looking. And what we like best is how discreet this key safe actually is at 15.5x7x6.5cm. It blends into any potted plant or porch corner without drawing attention. But perhaps more than anything else, we love that it gives people peace of mind about their spare keys while looking like nothing special - until needed!
