The Lamp Sandrock Lrg is large and bold but still manages to have this quiet appeal with its softer sand shade base and muted linen lampshade. We like how it takes up space - at 40x40x65.5cm, there’s nothing shy about it - without being overwhelming.
And while the proportions are purposefully exaggerated for that pop of drama, they’re still tastefully balanced so it doesn’t become jarring to see in a living room, or study (it goes rather well in studies) or even commercial spaces like co-working lobbies and executive offices.
The ceramic base doesn’t have too much texture either; just a pebbled polish, so it stays accessible for every interior style. And that linen shade diffuses light so evenly that the lamp is pretty enough for side tables and desks, while still working in bedrooms on nightstands or as mood lighting at dinner tables.
