Leaf Plate Lrg Long w/ Birds

Right - time for something a bit unexpected. This one is definitely a standout. It’s our Leaf Plate Large Long with Birds, and it’s honestly the kind of piece people just have to pick up in store. The gentle shine of the ceramic plays beautifully with lighting - works well on a dark wood surface or on a crisp white shelf. And the two hand-painted birds perching right at the edge? Just the sort of detail that draws attention. At 33x13x12cm, this is big enough to be practical but still delicate and unique. We’ve seen customers use them for so many things - a snack dish, an entrance catch-all, somewhere to leave keys by the front door, or just as a decorative tray for smaller trinkets. It’s remarkably versatile. The green finish is rich but not overdone, so it does suit loads of settings - modern country, classic English style, even some more contemporary looks where people want something unexpected. It’s really that hand-glazed finish and those birds that get people talking - they’re not mass market or generic at all. And they’re sturdy too - none of that feeling you might break it just by looking! This has been a strong seller for homeware and gift shops but also in garden centres and florists who want something fresh for spring displays. We’ve also had feedback from retailers who use these seasonally - so much opportunity here. If your customers love nature-inspired accents that aren’t kitschy or dated, this piece always delivers strong interest in person. And we’ll be honest - we’ve seen shop staff take these home themselves more than once!
