Oar Rustic White

SKU: JF3119-3

Oar Rustic White Nautical lovers will appreciate this reclaimed wood paddle for its ability to tell a story. A matte, distressed finish means it’s really at home against neutral walls or in an entryway that gets lots of daylight. Paired with rustic rope and rope-wrapped handle sections, we’re reminded of wooden rowboats on country lakes as much as rocky coastlines where you’d find the likes of shellfish restaurants and old shipyards. And because it’s just 90cm long, there’s plenty of ways retailers can get creative in styling this item - always remember that creating a scene is what helps customers visualise your inventory within their own spaces (and lives).

We absolutely love how the Oar Rustic White captures all that coastal style charm with a minimalist twist. The 90x2x12cm dimensions are just right - big enough to be a feature, small enough to work for apartment living or as part of a bigger collection. Our clients often find pieces like this one work beautifully as wall art for holiday houses, bathrooms, entryways or as a showpiece in a retail setting. The cool part - these are individually crafted using reclaimed timber, which means every oar has its own quirks and imperfections. The finish is very rustic so the paint will have that distressed look and the grain of the wood will come through too. We’ve seen this rustic white blending well into Hamptons styles but also looks spot-on among eclectic beachy, vintage, even some Scandinavian inspired homes. Pieces like this have lots of cross-category appeal - it’s got eco-conscious roots, hand-made design and keeps that gift and decor crossover feel.
