Percival Pelican, a quirky cast iron character with lovely weathered green patina, is a fun find for any shop that likes vintage or coastal interiors. Some have used it as a garden ornament, but we think it’s too nice not to keep at home somewhere as well. The cast iron build is pretty solid and hefty for a figurine, but if you’re thinking about outdoor use, it’ll be best to stock these in sets for more impact. At 13.5x8x16cm, Percival is big enough to be a statement piece but compact enough that it doesn’t overpower the rest of the setting.
This is one of those items you can pair with other rustic ornaments and still have it stand out on its own. We’ve seen retailers use this in their window displays and as store mascots because they’re just so playful and fun to own.
