Placemat Long WeaveWash
Woven straw, softened by hand and finished in long waves that run the length of the placemat. A soft washed finish gives it a relaxed, lived-in feel that’s so easy to style with organic and earthy looks. Measures 45x30cm and works well in neutral settings as well as minimalist ones where you want to bring a little warmth through texture.

This item is handcrafted from natural material so variation in finish/size and colour will occur. This is part of the uniqueness of the product and not considered a fault. Painted/washed items please note paint does come through the weave, this will not be classified as a fault and credits will not be granted.
This is one of those pieces that just keeps catching our attention, no matter how many times we walk past it on the shelf. There’s something grounding about natural straw that customers keep coming back to, whether they’re setting a table for Sunday breakfast, hosting a dinner for friends, or just wanting their work-from-home desk to feel a little more inviting. Our Placemat Long WeaveWash in raw straw – 45 x 30 x 0.5 centimetres for those of you looking for sizes – is handwoven and then artfully finished with a subtle washed look.
The real beauty here is that each placemat comes out with its own character and tone. Some have a little more paint coming through the weave, some have less – but none of this is considered a fault. Retailers will always want to explain to customers that these are handmade by real craftspeople so variation is all part of the charm, not something to complain about! And this neutral palette does work beautifully with almost any décor or table linen going around right now. We love seeing them paired up with matching straw or timber pieces at an indoor-outdoor event, or even offsetting vibrant seasonal colours on a festive table. Beautifully finished but never too 'done'.
