Planter Totem Black
The Planter Totem Black is one of those rare finds that’s right at home in any shop that likes to show off a bit of personality. The 11.5x11.5x11.5cm size is compact but not tiny - the rounded terracotta construction and minimalist brow, nose, and eyes pattern gives it this sort of hand-sculpted feel. With the matte black finish and all those abstract features, there’s a lot to talk about here - it’s artsy but still functional enough for the day-to-day, especially for buyers who like to see practical items with a talking point or two.

You’ve got customers who can be a bit picky, but our Planter Totem Black is the piece that’s going to stop them in their tracks. This planter is way more than just another pot - the 11.5x11.5x11.5cm size is ideal for bookshelves or side tables, and the deep black terracotta gives off such a bold vibe. The minimal, tribal-inspired face design might not shout, but it definitely draws attention in all sorts of homeware shops - it’s got that modern abstract thing going on that fits with boho or contemporary interiors.
We love seeing these in lobbies and living rooms - we’ve had a few shops pick them up for office fitouts too. The shape’s pleasingly round but clean and simple - something about it just works, even without foliage inside. They do seem to sell best in groups of three (people like clusters), or as standalone sculptural pieces for creative homes. If your shoppers are after quirky but elegant planters, this one’s a good bet.
