Our Pot Sitter Bee is turning into a bit of a cult favourite among our range of little decor bits and bobs. It's funny - sometimes the smallest things, like this quirky resin bee, get the most attention. Sturdy, darkly metallic, a little whimsical - customers want them for indoor plants, outdoor pots, office succulents. The bee's about 7x3x10cm and easy to move from spot to spot. And it does seem to catch light in an interesting way even on an overcast day.
People who usually prefer minimalism seem to like how it brings some handmade warmth to white or grey ceramics - it's very much the 'notice me but I'm not too loud' sort of piece. People who have a more maximalist or garden-laden decor seem to like how they can perch several together for a bit of an eye-catching grouping.
We know there's no right way to style something like this, just some ideas your shop visitors might have when they see it next to planters or baskets or...well...almost anywhere. Makes sense that we keep getting asked about them. They're very sweet!
