This is one of those rare planters that does the best job at fitting in with your plant placement choices. None of the cutesy painted on details, which is odd for a ceramic this solid. The speckling from the reactive glaze adds a depth to it, and since this is hand done, every Pot Springtime will have slight differences in patterns and hues.
