Create a bit of a nautical splash with this ceramic seahorse plate. At 22cm long, it’s so much more than a little table ornament for salt, crackers or a quick amuse bouche. For one thing, most salt plates are just that. But this one here is distinctly seahorse-shaped with all the little embossed details you could want in a feature plate. All its scales are raised up just a tad, the fins pop out of the sides and even its smile is visible despite being unglazed and matte-finished throughout.
And although it does have all those amazing features, this plate isn’t too busy or bold for most interiors or table settings either - its entire surface is white and the details are only really visible when someone is close to it. Place it on tables, desks or glass cabinetry as part of a sea-themed arrangement or fill it with any condiment you want for your nibbles table.
