This Spiced Pear and Ginger hand cream tester does a wonderful job of showing off the Casa Serena Collection's more fragrant side, and it's an easy one to sample because it's so clean and elegant in its design. The 100ml tube is soft, squeezable, and feels nice to use, while that faceted cap is easy to open and close without feeling flimsy. And we like the fact that it has those ornate blue floral patterns on there - they stand out just enough to be remembered.

Our Spiced Pear Tester is a sample hand cream, but a sample that somehow takes centre stage. What we like here is the blend of classic pattern and elegant detailing on the tube itself, matched with this sophisticated cream body - finished in gold and black for just a bit of flair. Somehow refined, yet understated and just a little vintage. Soft tube form factor for practical reasons; flat bottom to stand upright at the counter or right next to the register. We realise that testers can come across as too casual or not designed well enough for retail spaces - but we think this is one that does double duty as both an effective product and part of seasonal displays in-store or at popups. While it fits in almost any setting, the blue geometric patterns feel right in more modern interiors, though they do also work as complementary accents to other schemes.
