These beautiful Woven Planter S/3 Storage Wash sets have a real personality to them. We never get tired of admiring them - there’s just something about those hand-braided straw textures that makes us feel calmer. They’re warm and natural, but the whitewashing gives them just enough of a modern edge to fit into so many aesthetics - coastal, country, Hamptons, boho, even an urban apartment with some rustic touches. We’ve kept the finish subtle on these, so it doesn’t look too in-your-face.
Because we work with talented artisans to get these handwoven for us, every set is unique. You do see differences in the weave and the paint sometimes comes through more in places than others, but frankly we don’t think of that as a problem at all. That’s the beauty of handmade pieces with real straw. It means people aren’t getting something everyone else has. The largest size is really quite tall (L:22x22x36cm), so you can make a statement by grouping the whole set together on a patio or in a reading nook.
These are the kinds of planters you want if you don’t want your plant holders to blend into the background. We’re pretty fussy about making sure everything looks and feels premium and we couldn’t be prouder of this batch.
