There’s just something about animal motifs in homeware that seems to catch people’s eye and especially when they’re done right - it’s easy for animal design language to be a bit much, but we think that Birdie Sml Sky has really struck the right balance between form and function, making it versatile for a range of homeware, giftware, stationery stores.
It’s shaped from high-quality ceramic into a small, stylised bird in an understated but impactful pastel colour palette, and at 10.3x8x6.8cm, is sized for pretty much any part of the house or even the office space. We’re also big fans of the subtle beak and small dot eye details that are glazed over with a nice glossy finish that brings out those earthy brown tones. In fact, nothing about this ceramic figurine is ever too overstated or garish - it just fits well into any sort of aesthetic.
