Book Box S/2 Med Native Birds
Australian flora and fauna will probably never go out of style, so anything you stock that features them will most likely do quite well. We think the popularity of this set comes down to just how ‘not overdone’ it is – there’s a refined appeal to these neutral, book-shaped boxes with soft illustrations. 29x20x5.5cm for the large, 24x16x4cm for the small and made from MDF/canvas/non-woven fabric/PVC - with delicate gold edges on each spine too. If you're selling baskets or tray sets at the moment? These might be great complements in a bundle deal.

Book boxes have always had a place in the world of giftware, but we’ve noticed they’re having a bit of a resurgence. The Book Box S/2 Med Native Birds pair are two solid pieces that are made with MDF and finished in a canvas, non-woven fabric and PVC overlay. We really like the illustrations featured on these - styled after the form factor of traditional books, these 29x20x5.5cm and 24x16x4cm ‘books’ blend into shelves or side tables, providing subtle storage spaces.
We know book boxes like these work particularly well in spaces where there’s not much room for storing keepsakes - those smaller apartments or town homes. But they’re also good to use as safety boxes for rooms where gifts or smaller valuables might be stored away on open shelves. They’re particularly useful at the front of stores - right on counters or display windows to welcome people in - making them excellent gifts for guests, especially international ones.
