Duck Olive Boots
Have you seen this duck? Duck Olive Boots is quite the sight at 16x6.5x22cm, even before you get to those boots. Resin craftsmanship lets this quirky little - er, little-ish - duck take on that blend of classic and modern in a way that’s understated and whimsical all at once. It isn’t really vintage or antique-looking, but it’s definitely got that retro farmhouse air to it.
We’ve found that the finish is a huge part of what makes Duck Olive Boots as appealing as it is. The white finish is soft and matte so it doesn’t catch light too much and distract from the green - very deliberate, we imagine - while the boots are glossy with a luxurious patina. If you’re trying to go for more of an avant-garde cutesy feel, try pairing this with brighter colours as centrepieces in a spot that gets more sunlight than most.
