There's only one word that comes to mind with the Hanging Bird Ruby: opulence. This eye-catching feature - sitting at a rather impressive 18x23cm plus ribbon (add 10cm for that) - is surprisingly easy to work with thanks to how light it feels and how gentle all those faux feathers are. The deep red colour keeps things feeling contemporary and there's just enough sheen on the sequins and metallic feathers to keep it from feeling too over-the-top. It's also a nice change from the kind of bright, playful Christmas decor that trends every now and then.
The body - all faux feather, plastic, and foam - is lightweight but by no means fragile, and we like having the option to style this bird however we see fit thanks to the ribbon being nice and long.
If you're shopping for Christmas ornaments but want something more than just round baubles in red, green, or gold, this ruby red bird is a show-stopper.
