Starfish Med Mineral
SKU: BT996-8
Customers have called our Starfish Med Mineral a 'chic little piece of the seaside' and we think that’s a fair assessment. At just 9x9x1.5cm, it’s small enough to not get in the way and makes for an effortless addition to those more natural or nautical displays. The neutral base with those subtle flecks of grey and brown make it work with any colour palette, so we’ve found it does well both in curated product ranges as well as in a casual ‘pick up and go’ setting near the till.

The Starfish Med Mineral is a ceramic starfish measuring 9cm wide and 1.5cm deep, made from powdery off-white, grey and brown-flecked ceramic for a finish that looks reminiscent of real dried starfish with a more considered contemporary touch. What we think your buyers will appreciate about this one is the slightly uneven, rougher finish up close - it almost feels like a combination of sand and stone on the outside of this one, and since each piece is slightly different, there’s some personalisation involved that gives each buyer something to call their own.
What’s been interesting is how creative people have gotten about incorporating these into their own homes, usually with other marine-inspired accent pieces as well (often alongside blue ceramics or sand-inspired vases) for added effect. The slight beiges in the design add this sort of muted but layered effect to many arrangements which pulls them together in more than a few retail spaces.
