Pelican

We’re very excited to show you this Pelican figure - it has turned out to be a real favourite with those of us who love a coastal vibe. This 10.5x19.5x18.5cm pelican statue is made from sturdy resin, and it’s got this endearing, slightly cartoonish character to it that makes you smile even if you’ve walked past it a hundred times. The palette - soft blue on the wings and the golden brown beak and feet - works beautifully with light, breezy interiors, particularly spaces that have a summery, Hamptons or relaxed nautical feel.

It isn’t tiny, but it’s definitely not imposing either; right in that sweet spot of being noticed without feeling OTT. We think it would slot in nicely on a mantle, a console table or even a windowsill. It’s got enough visual weight to hold its own on its own or play well with other decor pieces in a grouping. People have put this in bathrooms too - it can really perk up an ensuite or laundry shelf. And the best bit? Resin’s low maintenance so there’s nothing fussy here for your customers to stress about when they’re dusting or redecorating seasonally.

It does have such personality and charm - we often hear comments about how “friendly” this pelican looks and how much people enjoy having him around their home or office because he’s just so different from other birds you usually see in decor ranges. Stocking our Pelican statue could be one of those easy wins for retailers who want something quirky but still smartly-designed and universally appealing for adults and families alike.
