Bird Folk Lrg

Go on, say you’re not tempted to pick up a Bird Folk Lrg and carry it round your shop. This is the figurine that’s got people raving about how intricate the textural combinations and painted patterns really are. The heads and tails, with these gentle smoothing lines of polka dots and geometric curves. It’s a proper 18.5x13x5cm showstopper when you put it alongside plain wood or even some of the other more obvious contrast pieces you might see out there. And since it’s handmade and hand-painted, every single one comes out a little different. Some of our retailers have made bird families out of these larger ones and smaller ones for their own displays so it does feel like you get a lot of variety in just one motif - especially if you’re able to play around with vertical levels. Pair this with anything from vintage silver trays to heavy pottery for a combination that’s very contemporary-rustic or keep it on its own as an accent piece. We find it works best in smaller places as almost an inside joke or a side table piece that keeps people coming back to see what else you’ve got lying around in your shop.
