We’re really into the Portuguese Bird Candle Holder. Folk art lovers will go wild for this one - the ceramic, glossy finish is a crowd pleaser for those wanting to add a pop of navy blue to an otherwise muted space. These are statement pieces; we see them going in the centre of a table, or as part of a larger display, but they work just as well on their own. If you’re displaying these in store, pair them with other hand painted ceramics in neutral colours to draw attention, but not away from the bird candle holder.
With its cobalt blue bird perched on its white legs and base, this 19x6x13cm stunner is hand finished with white accents and patterns. A piece that plays around with negative space and earthy folk artsy motifs, there are slight variations between each bird - which makes them all that much more interesting.
These are a limited run for now - so if you like stocking exclusive pieces that not many others offer: go for it.
