Wall Decor Whale
SKU: UV7695-2
Coastal wall art has been around forever, but this natural timber whale is in a league of its own. With its minimalist design and beautiful wood finish, it really is a lovely piece for adding character to a beachside rental or holiday home. And, at 43x22.5x6cm, it’s large enough to make an impression but not so large that it’ll be difficult to sell. Stocking these means you’re likely to attract a wide range of buyers - from people who just love whales (who doesn’t?) and want one on their wall to those decorating beach houses and nurseries.

A really clever wooden whale silhouette, this one’s simple enough to work with a range of décor themes, but there’s a touch of sculptural interest that makes you look twice. Wall art like this is very versatile for both contemporary and more lived-in styles - lots of our retailers keep these in their core stock for exactly that reason.
We especially recommend playing up the handmade appeal when talking to shoppers. This one ticks every box - eco-friendly light wood grain showing through everywhere, an untreated feel (it isn’t oiled or finished with varnish, etc.), little raised carved panels following the curves of the tail and back for movement… it’s fun and unique without being too quirky or childish.
Retailers like these because they’re easy to style in-store and off-the-shelf shoppers can see them fitting into just about any home style. Coastal, contemporary minimal, colourful ‘unconventional’ spaces, you name it.
This is 43x22.5x6cm so most people will opt for displaying these horizontally.
