The Rusty Snail Gary is a bit of a quirky one. It’s the sort of piece that almost looks like something you might find at a small weekend market, designed by hand and crafted one at a time. At 11x4.5x7.5cm, these resin snails aren’t meant to be the centrepiece of any arrangement - though we have had more than a few stores stock and sell them as such! They’re rounded in the shape of some classically stylised snails with their coiled shells and stubby little faces turned forward.
These ones come painted white with some subtle ageing and texturising across their bodies while the shells are finished in shades of gold and rusty red. All along the surface, you’ll find engraved leaves or botanical motifs traced on for some additional detail. We’ve seen these kinds of figurines around console tables or mixed between other plants or botanicals for interesting accenting (and occasionally even in gardens)!
