S/3 Coloured Birds
And then there’s the S/3 Coloured Birds set that just sits on the shelf, but has this weird way of being picked up by anyone who walks past. Might be the mix of colours - there’s one brown and beige, another in blue and white with black spots, and the last in green and yellow - or maybe the hand-painted patterns that gives each one a completely different personality.
At 16x10.5x14.5cm, they’re small enough to pop on any shelf but large enough to catch the eye - and you can tell straight away they’re made from resin, but it’s got a glossy finish that almost looks like porcelain. The feathered details are all carved out as well, but not in a way that makes them look too realistic or stylised.
We see retailers popping these on display together for a happy effect, or separately in random corners just to create some contrast with other stuff nearby. As far as birds go, these have this beautiful quirkiness to them that works with so many different decor styles.
