Trinket Plate Turtle

This is a surprisingly popular seller for us, which we didn’t realise at first. But it all makes sense now. It’s quirky and cute without tipping too far into being kitsch - there’s nothing overtly nautical or “beachy” about it. It’s a charming way to let customers pay tribute to the pace of life without going all-out with actual turtles and marine decor. We’ve found that trinket plates in animal shapes appeal to a broad demographic - collectors, animal-lovers, and those who just want something a bit fun in their homes. Customers have told us that parents of pre-teens buy these as jewellery holders, but also that they’ve sold well as gifts for adults who seem to collect turtles (who knew?). At 17.5x11.5x3.5cm, it doesn’t take up much space on shelves, but does make quite an impression with its pretty shell texture, head and legs, and the elegant colour that straddles the line between pastel blue and green.
