Turtle Friends S/2
SKU: LD6181-1
Two turtles, one bolder than the other. Here, they come as a pair - glazed porcelain with deep red shells and white-grey all over - 18x18x8 / 16x16x6cm. We’re used to seeing them in homes with more nature-based décor but these work so well in shops and studios too; not sure why that is but we really like how it works out every time. Pair up for the most striking display or separate for those shy of commitment, either way, you’re making your displays all kinds of fun with this set.

Big fans of animal statues in general, the Turtle Friends S/2 set is one of those finds we can really appreciate. We mean, just look at the tortoises - rich, marbled grey with a brown band running across their shells. It’s very much reminiscent of what you see on tortoises in the wild and there’s a real elegance to their form - they’re distinctly turtle-y but not so much that it takes away from the décor element either.
Perhaps most notably, we’d say these pieces are finished to a nice, polished sheen which sets them apart from some of the other rough and rustic finds out there. There’s a novelty factor here - we can see people collecting them for their themed décor (like something more coastal or nautical) but also as simple contemporary pieces that work as great gifting options or coffee table pieces.
