There’s something very charming about ducks, isn’t there? We’re not quite sure what it is but this Standing Duck piece really does make for a lovely little addition to just about any shop. What makes it work is how well the hand-painted elements balance between the off-white body with brown accents on the wings, bold black detailing on the head and neck, and subtle feather markings - not too bright but still punchy enough to pop out at you. The black metal legs add a modern rustic charm that works especially well with the smooth glossy finish.
We’re quite fond of how well it suits traditional rustic interiors with its classic nature-inspired aesthetic and think that’s really what sets it apart in a market where crisp whites and stark greys are the norm.
