Create A Statement Wall

Creating a statement wall is great way to mix and match photo frames together with wall art and the great thing is anything goes.

Statement walls are all about being creative and not playing it safe with conventional colour combinations. Mixing some fluro brights in with black and white and gilt or silver frames will create a striking wall and help to sell more pieces as customers see how they can re-create similar statement walls at home. It's a great wall to show off your store's personality and make an interesting retail story.

The great thing about a statement wall is that is doesn't have to be very big, it can designed just behind a small table and can grow as and when you need it to.

We have collated some of our favourite wall decor to give you some ideas of how easy it can be..

Black & White
Maybe start with a couple of classic black frames, a square and a rectangular and maybe add into the mix an antique white frame, full of design and detail.

Neutral Shades
If you want to start off with a more neutral colours then maybe try this vintaged Tuscan Blue frame or this muted teal Rustic Frame Assez. A very modern looking grey adds yet another dimension and this Modella Grey with its swirl design is just what you need.

Brights
Now its time to add some colour! If you are feeling brave and want to add some really bright frames to your wall then these are perfect! This bright blue Bordo frame is great fun and adds that vibrancy a statement wall craves. The bright red flock frame is a decadent frame and would look amazing with a black & white photograph inside. The Teal Flock frame is a beautiful detailed frame in a gorgeous shade of blue.

Metal
By adding different textures to the wall it creates yet another dimension of interest. This gorgeous Diamonte Scallop frame in teal has been a great selling frame and delivers that eclectic feel perfectly.

Wooden
A plain wooden frame with a slight washed effect is ideal to add more depth and interest. We stock many different wooden frames and various finishes and a variety of sizes - take a look and see which ones you love.

Art Work
By adding an interesting piece of wall art in and around the photo frames it takes the look to a whole other level of interest. This Lone Tree artwork would be perfect as would the Stripe Bird Tree - you could also try the 2 piece lacquer prints.

If there is a lack of wall space you can create mini versions on table tops, combining all your frames to create an eclectic display and effectively re-displaying old and new stock.
