We see a lot of different baby smocks but this one is especially cheery, and it’s just… a handy thing to have. Any parent knows how quickly mess happens, and the soft pastel blue with navy trim is quite forgiving on stains. In fact, it almost makes stains look like part of the design - not that we’d encourage that. The roomy, boxy fit gives babies more freedom of movement in their arms, and that really helps when they’re too excited to stay still for snack time or drawing. As you’d expect from a smock, there’s an easy tie-up at the back and elastic cuffs so it’s quick to pull on and off.
The best part is the extra-wide hem that acts as a pocket for dropped food or paint. It won’t catch everything but it does help with clean up - just dump out the contents and throw it in the wash. Fabric feels lightweight but not flimsy, and should hold up to more than a few washes. And at 38cm wide and 43cm long with 40cm sleeves, these are a good fit for growing kids - not toddlers though; you’ll want to check measurements for that. There aren’t any weird odours from packaging or print transfer either, so you can put these out right away.
