These are such a great find! Our Cancun basket set of 2 is absolutely lovely - and we've really noticed how popular this design has been with customers. We think it’s a mix between the earthiness, a really natural material finish, but still some gorgeous vibrant tones that really lifts a room without being overly bright. It’s got those clever horizontal stripes that are subtly festive, but in a way that we think works all year round and not just for spring or summer. Now, these are hand woven baskets using sustainably-sourced corn husk and sea grass - you’ll see some pretty clear variation in colour and weave here. Honestly though, that's exactly what people want these days - handmade baskets where every piece is unique, not factory manufactured perfection.
And the sizing is brilliant too! Large is 31x25cm, Small 26x21cm with handles included - so not giant laundry baskets but also not tiny. Brilliant for storing toys in the living room or books in the bedroom. These are very much everyday storage baskets that look fantastic on display - they’d fit brilliantly into boho-themed shops (or even something more coastal or earthy) and we've had feedback from retailers saying they have been really strong sellers!
