We’re in love with these little Bird/Pot Sitters. There’s just something about the simplicity of the design, and it’s quite soothing to look at. The dusty blue glaze – not too bright, not greyed out either – gives this little bird a peaceful, gentle energy. It’s also got a really lovely hand-feel, thanks to the rounded body and smooth ceramic finish. These are made by hand, so you’ll see a touch of variation between each one - sometimes slight differences in shape or glaze coverage as well as tiny speckling in the clay base. We think this adds so much character to an already beautiful piece. This is technically a pot sitter, but there are plenty of interesting ways to display these birds. Sit them on bookshelf corners, stagger them down a staircase, pop one under an indoor plant for a ‘nestled under the canopy’ vibe. Feels like we’re celebrating nature - without all the mess!
