Nautical styles just don’t go out of fashion, and this classic Boat White ticks all the boxes for customers who want to bring a relaxed, coastal feeling into their homes. The hull is finished in distressed white with blue accents that really contrast against the rich wood on the sails - it’s a really considered look, very much like those beautifully made model boats you’ll see at real estate auctions in beachy suburbs.

It’s intentionally weathered which gives it a crafted feel (if you have clients who need something that feels genuine and individual, this will be right up their alley). It’s got little eyelets for detail which is quite lovely, but it’s not kitsch or over the top - quite understated if anything. And at 16x5x18.5cm it has enough presence to make an impact without dominating tablescapes or sideboards.

We've had a real surge in interest for things with a coastal touch lately. Boat White just fits into the nautical theming people have been trending towards. It’s about 16x5x18.5cm so a bit larger than something you’d see on a desk, but not as big as to take over a shelf - which just makes it quite versatile. There’s definitely some wood texture going on here and what we’ve noticed is that it feels really raw (not as raw as unfinished, mind you) but there’s that natural feeling to it. It’s nice because the paint isn’t completely opaque so you can see some of the grain even with the soft blue edge near the base. The mast and sails do what they need to in terms of making this look like an actual boat but from afar, it just holds up incredibly well as a centrepiece. And you probably guessed this already - these are hand finished so sometimes one might have more weathering than another and some boats might have more exposed grain than the next one in a box. We could definitely see this being used both as centrepieces and bookends or even part of a wider display - somewhere on an end table perhaps where it can be accentuated with other things (maybe with our coastal mirrors too).
