Mother-of-pearl inlay always catches the light in a special way, which is why our Box S/2 MOP is one of our favourite sets for this year. There's this play on circles and rectangles, with softly iridescent discs scattered across a white background for an airy, elegant result - finished off with a lightly textured pattern that adds interest. These boxes are pretty enough to be left out as-is, so we'd place them by entranceways or in walk-in wardrobes as standalone accents; use them to store cosmetics or jewellery or even little mementos like letters and dried bouquets.

The boxes come in two sizes: the larger box measures 21x21x13cm while the smaller one measures 17x17x11cm, but both come with removable lids that reveal ample storage space. The entire set is made from MOP (mother-of-pearl) and MDF (medium-density fibreboard), so it's structurally sound and doesn't feel fragile at all.
