What we’re seeing here is that black containers are definitely coming back - and in a big way. It was all clear glass for a long time, but people are getting back into that matte black. It’s just a bit more versatile for things like this candle - 10x10x8.5cm, glass and wax, and despite having “scented candle” on the box and jar, it’s not scented at all. We know there’s usually a bit of debate about unscented candles, but we’re finding that unscented means you can really market these as decorative candles or candles for different venues - things like weddings and receptions where scent is not really welcome.
It also helps that these have gold accents on the packaging - makes them look posh without being too over-the-top. The black with gold accent has been going well with the crowd who want something a bit more neutral but still very elegant.
