This Candle Vanilla is one of those really beautiful ones that look just as good as they smell. It’s got a great size at 11x11x9cm and the vanilla scent is beautifully subtle - not too overwhelming and it doesn’t come through too sweet either. In a lot of ways this feels like a classic vanilla candle but what we’ve done with the packaging is where the magic happens. That bold floral pattern in red, blue, green, and yellow makes for such an attractive box - it’s got such a lively feel to it and the overall vibrancy works with so many decor styles from maximalist to boho to rustic. The actual candle itself is handmade and there’s an incredibly understated quality about it that we’ve come to really enjoy. The aluminium casing isn’t too shiny so you get a muted finish on what is otherwise just wax and paraffin with 3% fragrance. The scent itself is warm but not sticky, which we think makes this a great gift item for retail shops or someone looking for something casual yet sophisticated for their home.
