Well, there’s something about the Chime Owl that makes us want to put it front and centre. With its gently speckled ceramic finish and hand painted details, it’s definitely got that handmade quality. We keep finding ourselves picking this one up. It’s cute, sure, but also just a really lovely piece for home or work spaces that could use something soft and interesting. Not sure if it’s the knotted twine or the owl’s expression - it does have quite a bit of personality. Even so, it complements a lot of decor styles. Our take is that this is just as comfortable in a casual farmhouse space as it is in modern Scandi or more eclectic homes. Like all our ceramics, each one is slightly different - some are glazed lighter or darker than others, but it works really well with the overall vibe of the collection.
It measures 14.5x14.5x11.5cm - right in that sweet spot between being bold enough for impact and subtle enough to sit on a shelf or hang by a window without taking over. It has substance, too - not heavy, but still solid thanks to the ceramic build.
These do really well at the moment - easy gifting for birthdays and housewarmings. We’re seeing a wider trend towards owls as symbols of protection and wisdom in general - lots of people like them as touchstones for students or workplaces (we’d say encouragement to study but who can say). This chime's unique design definitely stands out from what we’ve seen elsewhere - not your standard kitschy look at all.
