Clams are oceanic creatures that are all too familiar especially to people who live or visit beaches and coastal regions since they can easily be found washed up on beaches or caught up in fishing nets. The Clam Shell Bowl is therefore an artful ceramic moulded figurine of these unique oceanic animals. Apart from its obvious ornamental application, it can also be used for other practical purposes such as in holding small items like car keys, house keys, phones, stationeries, etc.
Did you know that the average lifespan of many clam species is between 33 and 36 years old? In fact, scientists in 2007 discovered a particular clam sample that is said to have been between 405 to 410 years old! It is in the manner of this same oceanic clam animal that this Clam Shell Bowl has been crafted. It is made in a fairly large sized clam shape making it suitable for use in not just versatile ornamental ways, but also in practical ways such as in serving sweets, fruits, and other such edibles.
