Sometimes, the best way to sell a doorstop is to put it right next to the front door of your shop, and we find that there aren’t many patterns that will pop like the Hamptons 2. It measures 17x17x25cm and comes with an attached loop handle on top, which is as practical as it is handy (in that you could actually tie it down if you had to). The cotton fabric comes in a particularly lush blue accented by delicate florals in white and lavender, and the surface itself feels strong but slightly textured. The edges are all stitched up tight so we feel safe saying that there’s no risk of any sand escaping from within, and - somehow - those stitched edges make it look even better. The finish isn’t showy or anything either; our team thinks its strength is in how understated it can get if you’re not paying attention to it. We’d put this in something coastal or floral-themed but even contemporary spaces might work.
